[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Here’s something you really don’t see every day. A fragment of steel from the flex plate flew off while the engine was running, and tore into the crankshaft position sensor.
This initially seemed like a very common sensor failure. After trying and failing to extract the sensor, we finally had to resort to pulling the transmission to attack it from underneath. That’s when we found the root cause.
